Some photos are from the George Floyd Paddle for Peace at Pleasure Point, California. They were shot on a disposable water camera in order to capture the feeling of paddling, listening, and feeling the emotions... they intentionally show movement to echo the feeling of the quickly moving information unfolding. Other photos are from art found on a mountain bike trail in Santa Cruz, which I consider to be culture jamming, a movement that is dear to my soul. The paints are not the original works... the original BLM art was painted over by All Lives Matter defacement. Local mountain bikers pooled money together to fix the destruction with new BLM art.
