3 tips for pursuing your craft and finding inspiration

1. Make sure you know the reason that you’re pursuing art.

Cause you’re gona have constant disappointments when you set expectations. It’s never gona be a possible expectation. You’re gona want things that will eventually not happen. But when you dedicate yourself to the reason why, it will happen. You will be finding inspiration!

So you have to dedicate yourself to the reason why you want this to happen, “I wanted to try to connect the world. I wanted to take strong stands…and that’s my passion. So I don’t really care if I ever get famous. I was gona do it no matter what; but when you put your heart that much into a passion, it’s always gona work. It’s just a matter of time.”

A lot of artists don’t like to put their work out there, due to a lot of doubt and insecurity, but if you don’t put it out there, you can’t make an impact on others and on the world.

2. Dedicate yourself, and pour your heart that much into a passion.

“If you convey your passion, I swear to God the world will listen and they will hear, and be just excited about what you’re working on.” Humility is a beautiful thing and we always need to manage our ego, especially through art, because art requires a lot of self-reflection and expression.

What’s beautiful about being passionate is that your inspiration is always there, and that fire in you will always be lit and driving you to move forward.

So keep on doing what you do best, with all the passion you have in yourself, and always enjoy the process!

3. Put your work out there.

To be known, you have to put your work out there for the people to see, and you shouldn’t have any expectations. If you now it’s good or if you just like what you did, don’t pay attention to the number of likes and comments you get, because art is so subjective.

So the opinion that matters the most is YOURS!

However just listen and read and pay attention to your audience’s feedback, because they also help you get better and evolve. They also inspire you in ways you can’t imagine.

Social media is an incredible tool to get your work on a large platform that reaches numerous people all around the world.

These are the three top photography tips that Adam shared with us. So go ahead and start finding inspiration!
