States of Mind: How Double Exposure in Photography Expresses Our Most Inner Feelings

Every Collection Has a State of Mind

Double Exposure tells a deeper story and more abstracted story - perhaps it is telling the story of the mind.

Part of working with more authentic and diverse photography means that you come across images that are not typically seen in an online photo marketplace.

Since the photographers that are featured at Scopio are less restricted in their creative genius and how they express themselves, they will often produce images that we are not accustomed to seeing in everyday life.

Typical stock photography prohibits the photographer from truly expressing their creativeness as they are bound by regulations.

What we do not realize is that by restricting the photographer's creative limits we are actually restricting ourselves from the full creative experience. An experience that perhaps our minds can relate too more easily than previously thought.

The collection: States of Mind was brought about by the idea of Co-Founder, Nour Chamoun, who noticed a consistent trend in keywords that subscribers kept searching for, such as dreamy, aspirational, serene, and in an attempt to curate a collective base for these images 'States of Mind' was born.
